This is Rya and her new friend Mya from Prince George. She and her family stayed with us for a sleep over after Deaf Family Camp in July. They were "brushing" their teeth.

Deaf Family Camp July long weekend.

Deaf familes around the area went to Thetis Island for 4 days of camping, and beach and activities adn Deafies. Lots of fun!!!

Sebastian loved sleeping on the air mattress and sleeping bag!

Richard double checked the ropes for my "leap of faith" at camp. We both jumped and did it well. I had my flip flops on so near the top I was told to kick them off before I jumped. That was more tricky than the actual climb!

At a friend's birthday party... Rya wore the sunglasses the whole time. She seems to think its the "cool" thing to do.

At Sea cavalcade mid July. Kids first Fireworks, Sebastian laughed all the way through and Rya covered her ears. Fun!

He just can't wait until he gets a drum kit. Maybe next year boy!

Zorianna and Zaria and Rya... the 3 princess girls!

Just before her party, while in Victoria Rya was jumping on a trampoline and hurt her knee. She wouldn't walk or bare weight on it. Of course we rented a bouncy castle for her 4th birthday... so finally Rya gave it a go and flopped around in it. Still fun!!!

At the PNE with an all day ride pass... I told Rya she could ride the horses 20 times if she wanted... so she did.

Richard was taking pictures of the "gas gas" bike to sell it, Rya kept running around the bike saying "take my picture"

"No Dad don't sell the bike... we promise we will learn to ride it"

"Digger Day" in Gibsons the kids get to climb on and ride on the heavy machines. Although its no different than the big boys toys in the gravel pit beside our house... seemed more exciting when they were all together at the Highschool field

Rya's first day of Pre-School. She picked out her outfit. She is on a "Dresses only" phase right now but must wear her "work" boots.

Yes, Sebastian is very good with the spoon. Soup is his specialty... Bib? what for?

At Steve and Lindsay's house in Kelowna on the way to Calgary. The kids had a blast riding the "mini" quad. Even Sebastian was big enough to run the quad. Safe??? um... I'm right there, and Tristan is pretty tough, he can roll away should Sebastian kick it into reverse... again. Very safe.
